¨My friends help me get [the technology]  to work,”  Hendrickson said. “I don´t know how to code at all.” He takes inspiration from his friends who excel at drawing, improving the work he loves.

Hendrickson first got interested in graphic design and spritework in middle school. Spritework are the images found in video games created by video game designers. This year, he is taking a couple computer classes as electives. In addition to these classes, Hendrickson loves to play video games, mezmerized by the art of them. His grandfather worked in video game design and now he’s following in his grandfather’s footsteps, continuing to grow his knowledge of the art as he works on mastering coding.

Hendrickson hopes to continue his growth in graphic design at ELHS, ongoing his journey with his friends

¨I guess it´s what I want to do when I get older,¨ Hendrickson said, “I don´t want to spend the rest of my life doing something I don´t like¨
