Adan Quan

Adan Quan, Editor-in-Chief of Copy

Adan Quan is a member of the Class of 2023 and one of the Editors-in-Chief of  for Portrait. This is his third year on staff as a senior. He also reports occasionally for East Lansing Info, and was invited to attend the Asian American Journalists Association’s JCamp, a national multicultural journalism program. Adan’s favorite thing about journalism is writing and interviewing. When he is not in the newsroom, Adan loves to play flute, learn about history and play pickleball.

Walking around his classroom, Ross Gorman leads his World History class in a lesson on the Soviet Union under Josef Stalin on Mar. 11. Gorman will be teaching one section per semester of Black American History, starting in the 2022-23 school year. Having taken black history courses at MSU and being interested in the topic, Gorman has pushed for one to be created at ELHS since he was hired, only just now getting it approved.
